Mary H. Kim is a Senior Partner at Wesierski & Zurek, LLP’s Orange County office, and focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance, employment, and business law. She has handled trials as both first chair and second chair, and also handles appeals. Ms. Kim has also represented clients in employment matters before state agencies, such as the Department of Labor Enforcement Standards. Along with Christopher P. Wesierski, Ms. Kim’s trial work has earned recognition as one of The Daily Journal’s Top Defense Verdicts on two occasions, in 2019 and 2022.

Ms. Kim attended the University of San Diego, School of Law, where she received the Diversity Scholarship each year, and graduated in 1998. Ms. Kim graduated early from the University of California, Riverside, with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. After graduation, Ms. Kim worked as a paralegal for a Newport Beach law firm before deciding to attend law school. Ms. Kim was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998, the Connecticut State Bar in 2016, and was also admitted to the United States District Court for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts.

Ms. Kim is fluent in Korean and has served on the board of directors for the Orange County Korean American Bar Association and as a member of the Bench and Bar Committee. She is also a member of the Banyard Inns of Court, the Orange County Bar Association, Employment and Insurance Sections, and has served as chair for the Orange County Bar Association, Community Service Committee.
