Eugene is an attorney whose practice is grounded in civil litigation, trial advocacy, and public interest–informed legal work. His experience includes supporting litigants in complex civil matters and assisting with litigation strategy, discovery, and case development across a range of practice areas.
Eugene graduated cum laude from Western State College of Law, earning recognition as a member of the Dean’s Circle. During law school, he served as a Dean’s Fellow, working closely with faculty to support academic programming and student initiatives. He completed nearly 500 hours of public service, earning the Wallace R. Davis Public Service Award in recognition of his sustained commitment to community advocacy and access to justice. While in law school, he gained hands-on experience through internships with the ACLU of Southern California and the Elder Law and Disability Rights Center.
After graduation, Eugene honed his civil litigation skills through a fellowship with the Orange County Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Prior to law school, he worked as a construction litigation paralegal, developing a strong foundation in pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Colby College, majoring in History with a minor in East Asian Studies, and studied abroad at Temple University’s Japan Campus in Tokyo.
Outside of his legal practice, Eugene is an avid recreational tennis player, a classically trained pianist, and an enthusiastic karaoke performer. He also enjoys camping, participates in Bible study fellowship, and is studying the Japanese language.
